A TOOTH!!!

So, I don't have a picture of it yet, cause it's on the top, but Alida FINALLY got her first tooth!
It just kind of snuck up on us! I can't get a picture of it though. it's not as easy to get a picture of a top tooth when there's only one. 13 1/2 months and she finally has a tooth!!!!!

an update

So, I don't know if I mentioned this, but just as a side note,
Anthony, Alida and I have moved!
We are living in an apartment in Spanish Fork now and it's great!
Alida has her own play area and her own bedroom now!
I am hoping the spa will open soon, and we're looking for another job for Anthony.
We are having a great time!!!

A new hobby

So, I have decided that I need a hobby. I don't do much when I'm bored... cause most everything to do takes money... and if you're like me, you don't have much of that to blow.

So, after considering what I enjoyed and what I was good at and what I could do for next to (if not absolutely) nothing, I decided that I want to try my hand at photography again. I took the photography classes in High School and my photography teacher actually gave me one of his jobs he'd been hired to do while I was in his classes... and I LOVED it!!!
So these are the first of (hopefully) many pictures that I will get to take!!! For a first try at formal photos, I don't think they're half bad, but I'd love to know what everyone else thinks. Feel free to drop me a line and give me your honest opinions! ^_^ (cause if I suck, I'd like to know so I'm not just wasting my time.)
The details of these photos are: They were taken on August 9, 2008 at our apartment in Spanish Fork (yes, this is just our front yard! ^_^) at roughly 7pm. It was an overcast and sort of windy day. The subject is Lana Jean... one of my BFF's.... and a childhood friend (practically another sister!)

Alida's New Car Seat

Anthony and I recently got Alida her first front facing
car seat! She didn't quite know what to think of it.
She enjoyed the novelty of getting to watch what
Mommy and Daddy were doing in the front seat though!

Return of the mountain man!

JayDee has returned from South Dakota!!!
He stayed the night at our apartment on Sunday night!
When Alida first laid eyes on him, she looked like she
wanted to cry. Wanna see why?

I told JayDee he looked like Adam Ponnape (or Pontape... or however you spell it)

Happy birthday to me grumble grumble

So, for my birthday this year, I got to go to Lagoon with
